Having used all of my available free time on Friday to suggest the guide tracks, I didn’t have too much free time left to work on the logo.
Thomas had mentioned that he’d like a naked woman or two, and I thought that the “s” part of the “ß” letter was a candidate for conversion. I knocked out a couple of prototypes and on Sunday was able to quickly draft a complete version of the logo replete with the WildßcreW Woman.
I was about to send the design to Thomas, but then noticed that he’d written to me with the news that Christian had been busy with the previous prototype, and converted it to vector graphics.
I showed Thomas my newest designs today and he (rightly) said that the woman would be better drawn as a silhouette – although that means that the definition in the slightly parted legs would get lost – unless I leave a “white” line. The use of a WildßcreW Woman would certainly make give the logo name a logo symbol – but there is a danger that the “s” is lost, making the name too unreadable.
